Declaring that today’s youth and students represent the future leadership of the nation, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir addressed visiting students by stating, "You will lead Bangladesh in the future. In you, we see a new Bangladesh and new dreams."
The remarks were made on Monday (October 26, 2026) when students and teachers from Motijheel Ideal School and College visited Bangabhaban. This marked the inaugural implementation of the newly enacted "Bangabhaban Student Tour Policy 2026." Led by Principal Professor Lal Mohammad, a select group of meritorious students from grades 7 through 9 toured historic state installations, participated in an interactive session at the Bangabhaban Darbar Hall, and took part in a photo session with the President.
During his address, the President urged students to deeply respect their parents, teachers, and elders while remembering parental sacrifices in shaping their futures. Emphasizing the importance of modern education, President Mirza Fakhrul called upon students to master science and technology to drive future innovations. He noted that Bangabhaban is not merely a building but a historic symbol of statehood, announcing that student delegations from various educational institutions across the country will regularly visit Bangabhaban under the new policy to foster civic awareness and state heritage.
