The opening match of the Inter-Ward Under-14 Futsal Tournament, organized by the traditional sports organization Priyojon Kollan Porishod, was held on Saturday afternoon (October 10, 2026) at the sandy field adjacent to the Salimpur former ferry ghat bridge in Kalapara, Patuakhali.

Priyojon Kollan Porishod President Md. Abu Taleb Ivan Matubber inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest. Speeches were delivered by Pourashava Krishak Dal Vice-President Md. Selim Matubber and 'Pashe Darai' voluntary organization President Noyonaviram Gain (Noyon), with other prominent figures present, including Priyojon Kollan Porishod General Secretary Md. Bellal Howlader, Vice-President Md. Anwar Hossain Mallick, Nilganj Union Swechchhasebak Dal former convenor Said Howlader, and local businessman Bellal Howlader.

The opening match witnessed a competitive contest between Bhai Bhai Stars and Hamjala Fighters, ending in a goalless draw after 50 minutes of play, with both teams earning 1 point each on the table. Hasan of Hamjala Fighters was named Man of the Match, while Zisan from the same team was selected as the Best Player. The match was conducted by experienced referee Habibur Rahman (Habib), assisted by Mehedi and Masud Rana.
