Marking World Teachers' Day 2026 under the theme of honoring educators and ensuring their professional rights and dignity, the Combined Teachers' Council (Vhendabari Branch, Rangpur) organized a vibrant rally and discussion meeting at the Vhendabari Mohila College grounds on Monday (October 5, 2026).
The morning rally marched through major local roads before culminating in a discussion meeting, drawing teachers from 17 secondary and college-level institutions across the Vhendabari area.
Presided over by Vhendabari Mohila College Principal Nurunnabi Mia Raju Mia, the event featured Pirganj Upazila BNP General Secretary Zakir Hossain as the chief guest, alongside addresses from Vhendabari Union BNP President Mahmudul Alam Shahin, General Secretary Satya Ranjan Roy Enamul Haque Badal, Mokshedur Rahman, Asadullahil Galib, teacher Hira Begum, and Lecturer Ruzzaman Talukdar.
