JHAA observed Candle light tribute marks 25 march genocide day
Jagannath Hall Alumni Association (JHAA) observed 25 march genocide day on Wednesday with solemn remembrance of the martyrs of the 1971 massacre. JHAA paid their
tribute by lighting candles at the mass grave and placing wreaths at the memorial at jagannath hall campus, Dhaka University.
President of the organisation Tapan Mojumder intetacted with media during the programme and recalled the dreadful night of 25 march 1971, with candlelight symbolically a bloody chapter in our history. Mr Mojumder also reiterated nations demand for international recognition of the 1971 genocide.
