Free Eye Treatment Camp Held in Faridpur
A daylong free eye treatment camp was held in Kaijuri Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila. The camp was organized on Friday (September 11) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Akoin village under Ward No. 6 of the union.
The medical service was organized by Kaijuri Union BNP (Ward No. 10) and sponsored by Lions Club of Dhaka Sugandha, District 315 A-1, Bangladesh. Faridpur-3 Member of Parliament Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf inaugurated the daylong program.
In his inaugural speech, MP Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf wished success for the initiative, stating, "Through such humanitarian service activities, many poor and helpless people of the area will receive free eye medical services." At the same time, he expressed gratitude to the common people for electing him in the last national parliamentary election and sought everyone's cooperation in the overall development of the area in the future.
Throughout the day, local underprivileged and general people were provided with free eye examinations, medical services, and necessary health consultations at the camp. A large number of patients from the area received treatment through this welfare initiative.
Local BNP leaders and dignitaries of the area were present at the event.
