The Prime Minister has called upon multinational energy corporation Chevron to invest further in exploring new gas fields to bolster the country's energy security and meet the continuously growing domestic demand. 

Highlighting the government's priority to ensure a stable and sustainable energy supply for industrial and residential sectors, the premier emphasized that expanded exploration partnerships will play a crucial role in reducing import dependency.

 Representatives from Chevron acknowledged the immense potential in Bangladesh's energy sector and expressed keen interest in discussing prospective collaborative ventures under mutually beneficial terms.
