Former Serbian President Boris Tadić Visits NCP Headquarters in Dhaka
Former Serbian President Boris Tadić during his visit to the National Citizen Party (NCP) central office in Dhaka.

Former President of Serbia (2004–2012) Boris Tadić, accompanied by China-Bangladesh Partnership Platform Secretary General Alex Wang, paid a high-level diplomatic visit to the National Citizen Party (NCP) central office in Dhaka on Saturday (October 3, 2026).

During the visit, President Tadić and Secretary General Wang held a bilateral meeting with NCP Convener and Opposition Chief Whip Nahid Islam MP, alongside party Spokesperson Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan. The delegation was also joined by Alauddin Mohammad, member and Joint Member-Secretary of the NCP Diaspora & International Affairs Sub-Committee, and Abdullah Al Faisal, Joint Chief Coordinator. According to an official press release issued by the NCP, discussions centered on sharing institutional insights regarding parliamentary proceedings, democratic governance, and international diplomatic relations, while highlighting the vital necessity of sustained political dialogue and inter-regional cooperation.
