Jamaat-e-Islami leader and Dhaka-12 Member of Parliament Saiful Alam Khan Milan criticized Home Minister Salhuddin Ahmed on Wednesday (September 30, 2026), calling on the ministry to focus squarely on curbing deteriorating law and order across the country.

He emphasized that addressing unemployment for both educated and uneducated demographics remains a top national priority, noting that economic distress directly feeds local criminal activities. Furthermore, the lawmaker reiterated that peaceful, regular transfers of power through free and fair elections every five years remain essential to maintaining parliamentary accountability.
