A joy procession and brief street rally were held in Osmani Nagar, Sylhet, welcoming the newly formed committee of the Sylhet District Jubo Dal. The program was organized on Wednesday afternoon in Goalabazar by local leaders and activists of the Upazila Jubo Dal, known as followers of State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir.
The rally marched through various key roads in Goalabazar before concluding in front of Gayas Miah's office in South Goalabazar. Following the procession, a short rally took place where activists chanted slogans congratulating the new leadership of the district Jubo Dal.
Key attendees included former Osmani Nagar Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Gayas Miah, Jahangir Alam, Chhanu Miah, Maksud Ali, Haji Abdur Rauf, Osmani Nagar Upazila Jubo Dal Joint Conveners Abu Shipu Chowdhury, Ana Miah, Yaowar Ali, Alaur Rahman Shanto, Jebul Ahmad, Abdul Alim, Shah Shamim, Syed Babul, Mizanur Rahman Miju, Shamar Ali, Ruhul Amin, and Milon Ahmad.
Additionally, Joint Conveners of the Upazila Krishak Dal Tohsil Miah, Suhel, Nazir, Masum, and Tofael, along with numerous activists from Jubo Dal and its affiliate organizations, participated in the event.
Speaking at the rally, leaders expressed confidence that the newly constituted Sylhet District Jubo Dal committee will play a vital role in making the organization stronger, well-structured, and dynamic. They extended their hearty greetings and best wishes to the new leadership.
