Juba Dal Will Act as Supporting Force for Tarique Rahman's Vision, Declares Ruhul Kabir Rizvi
BNP and Juba Dal leadership assembled in Dhaka to mark the 48th founding anniversary of the youth organization.

BNP Acting Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has declared that Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal will serve as a vital supporting force for Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in realizing his new political vision focused on production, development, public welfare, and social protection.

Rizvi made these remarks on Tuesday (October 27, 2026) while addressing reporters after paying homage at the graves of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia on the occasion of Juba Dal's 48th Foundation Anniversary.

Reflecting on the organization's legacy, Rizvi noted that Juba Dal was founded 48 years ago by late President Ziaur Rahman to unite the nation's youth around multi-party democracy and civic freedom. He praised the organization for enduring years of severe political repression, imprisonment, and sacrifices during democratic movements, calling it the "steel-hardened vanguard" of the party. He also lauded current Juba Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan MP for their courageous leadership. Earlier at 11:00 AM, Munna and Nayan led central and unit leaders in placing wreaths and offering Fateha at the mausoleum, accompanied by BNP Joint Secretary General Advocate Abdus Salam Azad and senior party figures.
