Ahsan Habib Momi, President of the Bogura City unit of Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Jubo Dal, has called for developing the organization into a powerful force standing for truth and justice. He emphasized that the leaders and activists of Jubo Dal must play a responsible role in establishing the rights of the younger generation, protecting democratic values, and ensuring public welfare.
He made these remarks in a message issued on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Jubo Dal on 27 October. He extended his warm greetings and congratulations to the dedicated, struggling, and idealistic leaders and activists at all levels of the organization.
Ahsan Habib Momi stated that Jubo Dal is not just a political organization, but a key driving force for realizing the legitimate rights and democratic aspirations of the youth. Inspired by the ideals of the late President Ziaur Rahman, the organization’s members must work dedicatedly to protect the independence, sovereignty, democracy, and rights of the people.
He added that the role of the younger generation is critical in establishing democracy, voting rights, freedom of speech, and the rule of law. Therefore, alongside political activities, it is the duty of Jubo Dal activists to stand by helpless people, participate in social and humanitarian work, and raise their voices against injustice and irregularities.
The youth leader further stressed that members must rise above personal interests to maintain the organization's ideals, discipline, and unity. He urged them to gain the trust of the general public and present the political philosophy and welfare activities of the BNP and Jubo Dal to the new generation.
He called upon the activists to work unitedly to build a free, democratic, and prosperous Bangladesh, guided by the ideals of late President Ziaur Rahman, the political inspiration of Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, and the leadership of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
Ahsan Habib Momi expressed hope that the 48th founding anniversary would generate new enthusiasm among the organization's ranks, strengthening their commitment to working for the welfare of the country and its people.
