Abdul Wares, Member of Parliament for Gaibandha-5 (Saghata-Fulchhari) constituency, has visited various Puja mandaps in Saghata, Gaibandha, on the occasion of Sharadiya Durga Puja.
On Saturday (October 17), he visited the Saghata Ukilbari and Saghata Bazar Sarbajanin Puja Mandaps in Saghata Upazila. During the visit, he inspected the overall arrangements and security of the mandaps and exchanged greetings with worshippers and devotees.
Among those present during the visit were Upazila Amir Ibrahim Hossain, Saghata Union Amir Anisur Rahman, Secretary Mashiur Rahman, along with leaders of the respective Puja Celebration Committees and local devotees.
A festive atmosphere prevailed among the devotees gathered at the Puja mandaps during the visit.
