A prayer and milad mahfil was held praying for the quick recovery and good health of Principal Alamgir Hossain, former convener of Pirojpur District BNP, member of the Central Executive Committee, and administrator of the District Council. The prayer and discussion meeting was organized on Tuesday morning by the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, Pirojpur District Unit Command. Hero Freedom Fighters Abdus Salam Baten, Samshuddoha Milon, and Fazlul Haq Sentu delivered brief speeches during the event. Moderated by Hero Freedom Fighter Md. Mirza Zahirul Haq, the program was attended by freedom fighters and leaders of associate organizations. Speakers at the meeting recalled Principal Alamgir Hossain's political and social contributions and wished for his speedy recovery. At the end of the event, a special prayer (monajat) was offered seeking his rapid healing, physical well-being, and long life.
