England Suffer Double Injury Blow Ahead of Czechia Clash as Konsa and Scott Withdraw
England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel, who faces mounting injury concerns ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Nations League match against Czechia at Wembley.

England manager Thomas Tuchel faces an expanding injury crisis ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Nations League fixture against Czechia following the withdrawal of defender Ezri Konsa and midfielder Alex Scott due to injuries.

Both players featured in England’s dominant 7-0 victory over Croatia, with 23-year-old Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott making his first international start alongside Elliot Anderson in central midfield. Following his performance, Tuchel praised Scott's potential to challenge Declan Rice for a starting spot in the national squad, though the injury is expected to sideline him for several weeks. Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa has also been released back to his club for further medical evaluation, compounding fitness concerns for both country and club. Manager Thomas Tuchel has opted not to name immediate replacements for the pair. The latest set of injuries adds to an extensive list of missing players for England, including Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Tino Livramento, and Nico O'Reilly, with Manchester City’s Rico Lewis having previously been drafted into the squad as cover. England will host Czechia at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.
