The grand finale and prize-distribution ceremony of Season 4 of the Haji Omar Ali Mridha Smriti Sangsad Football Tournament 2026 was held in a festive atmosphere at the Kanargaon Eidgah ground in Shariatpur's Naria upazila on Monday evening (October 5, 2026).
Organized by the Kanargaon Jubo Sangha to encourage youth participation in sports, the exciting title match drew a massive gathering of local football enthusiasts and spectators. Naria Upazila BNP General Secretary Farid Ahmed Royal Majhi attended as chief guest, alongside Upazila BNP Vice-President SM Salauddin Chhoylal as special guest, and Shariatpur District Swechchhasebak Dal Vice-President Shakil Dhali as the inaugurator, with various local leaders and dignitaries also present.
Following an engaging match managed by Fatejangpur Union Juba Dal Joint Convener Didar Mridha and leader Kajol Chhoylal, the distinguished guests handed over trophies and individual performance awards to the champion and runner-up teams.
