Barishal-based Indo-Bangla Pharmaceuticals Limited has fully resumed normal production activities after successfully resolving a brief period of labor unrest at its manufacturing plant.

In an official clarification submitted to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) in response to a query issued on October 6, 2026, the publicly listed pharmaceutical firm confirmed that factory operations have been running peacefully and uninterrupted since September 27. According to company officials, the disturbance originated on September 13 when administrative actions were taken against a group of workers accused of verbally harassing a company officer. While subsequent protests by affected workers temporarily disrupted manufacturing, management implemented necessary legal and statutory protocols to restore order. Responding to online news reports from September 24 regarding worker demonstrations, Indo-Bangla Pharma assured investors and regulators that the isolated event has caused no negative financial impact or long-term disruption to its business continuity and operational capabilities.
