Rancon Motors Initiates Stock Market Listing Process; Signs Advisory and Issue Management Deals
Executives of Rancon Motors, Lion City Advisory, and CBC Capital & Equity Management exchange signed documents for the company's proposed stock market listing.

Rancon Motors Limited, the sole manufacturer and distributor of Suzuki motorcycles in Bangladesh, has formally initiated preparations for listing on the country's stock exchanges.

To facilitate the capital market entry, Rancon Motors signed agreements with Lion City Advisory Limited (LCAL) for corporate and capital market advisory services, and CBC Capital & Equity Management Limited as the issue manager. The agreement was executed at Rangs Babylonia in Tejgaon, Dhaka, by Romo Rouf Chowdhury, Managing Director of Rancon Motors, and Ershad Hossain, Executive Director of Lion City Advisory. Industry sources indicate that Rancon Motors may apply for listing under the direct listing mechanism, subject to regulatory approvals. Upon completion, Rancon Motors will become the first dedicated two-wheeler manufacturer to list on the local bourse, following Runner Automobiles, which operates in both two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments. As of June 2026, Suzuki held approximately a 20% share of the Bangladeshi motorcycle market, selling 8,215 units out of the country's total 40,514 unit sales.
