While the disputed property was previously under arbitration before Upazila BNP General Secretary Mobarak Ali, accused Obaidullah Nur Siddiki claimed the land was legally purchased by them and that they were merely putting up fencing, whereas Chakaria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Arifur Rahman stated that legal action would be taken upon receiving a formal complaint.
