Dr. Md. Atiqur Rahman Talukdar—a native of Jalshuka village in Shyamganj, Gohalakada union under Netrokona's Purbadhala upazila—has been appointed as the administrator of the voluntary social welfare organization "Community Health Research Association" (Registration No. T-8479) by the District Social Services Office, Dhaka.

Issued on October 2, 2025, through an order signed by Deputy Director and Registration Authority Abu Saeed Md. Kawsar Rahman, the directive dissolved the current executive committee under Section 9 of the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961, due to organizational stagnation.

Following his appointment, Purbadhala Upazila BNP Convener Alhaj Abu Taher Talukdar, Joint Convener Syed Al Mamun Shahid Fakir, and Upazila Juba Dal Acting Convener MA Mansur Khokon Akond expressed gratitude to the BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman while extending warm congratulations to Dr. Atiqur Rahman, who stated his commitment to conducting a transparent election and handing over power within 90 days in accordance with the organization's constitution.
