A preparatory meeting was held in Pirganj, Rangpur, on Saturday to successfully observe the historic November 7 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day'.
The meeting was jointly organized by the Pirganj Upazila and Pourashava branches of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) at the Upazila Parishad Auditorium.
Presided over by Mr. Md. Mahmudun Nabi Chowdhury Palash, President of Pirganj Upazila BNP and Member of Rangpur District BNP, the meeting was addressed by Rangpur District BNP Convener and District Council Administrator Saiful Islam as the chief guest.
Special guests who addressed the meeting included Pirganj Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President Mostafizur Rahman Selim, Organizing Secretary Shahinuzzaman Shahin, Organizing Secretary Ataur Rahman Bitu, Pirganj Pourashava BNP President Saiful Azad Mondal, former President Shahidul Islam Mondal Sebu, and leaders of various union BNP branches.

Speakers at the meeting highlighted the significance of historic November 7, called for the successful execution of upcoming political programs, and urged party leaders and activists to work in a united manner. A large number of leaders and activists from various levels of the upazila and pourashava BNP, along with its
Affiliate/Associate Body (associated) organizations, were present at the preparatory meeting.
