Kulsum Begum, an elderly woman who lost her way home and has been wandering from door to door, is desperately searching for her husband and children. Having no permanent address at present, she eats whatever others give her. Upon learning of her helpless condition, the humanitarian voluntary organization "Pashe Darrai" in Kalapara, Patuakhali, has arranged temporary shelter for her and is actively trying to locate her family. Currently, Kulsum Begum is staying in Salimpur village of Nilganj Union, Kalapara Upazila, Patuakhali.
The elderly woman, who has lost her family, is approximately 70 years old. She stated that her husband's name is Moktar Sikdar (Kuddus) and that she is the mother of four children: a son named Ibrahim, and three daughters named Sufiya, Firoza, and Parul. She also mentioned the names of some relatives, including her brothers-in-law Jabbar, Hamid, and Satter, and recalled that her husband used to run a paddy and rice business at home.
Although Kulsum Begum remembers these details, she cannot recall the name of her police station, district, union, or village. However, she repeatedly mentions one specific name: "Jhikargachha," and her only constant plea is, "I want to return home."
