Shortly after the shock of a tragic child murder case in Pabna, another disturbing incident has emerged as a 50-year-old tea vendor named Saiful Islam has been accused of attempting to rape an 11-year-old third-grade student inside his shop at Sadullapur Government Primary School in Sadullapur union, Pabna Sadar upazila, on Saturday afternoon. According to Ataikula Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mojibur Rahman, locals noticed the attempt and rushed to the scene, prompting the accused to flee.

Enraged by the incident, local residents vandalized his home and set fire to his tea shop. Police have deployed additional forces in the area, and the victim will be sent to Pabna General Hospital for a medical examination while legal proceedings are underway.
