On the occasion of the 6th birthday of Abrar Bin Mehedi, cooked food and drinking water were distributed to 200 underprivileged, helpless, and mentally challenged individuals in Pirojpur.
The distribution drive was initiated on Friday (October 2) in front of the family's residence on the Pirojpur Bypass Road and later extended across various areas of the town.
The family members personally prepared and packaged packets of khichuri and chicken, accompanied by bottles of drinking water. Abrar's father, Mehedi Hasan, Vice President of the Pirojpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry and an active social worker, shared that the family has maintained this humanitarian tradition for the past five years.
He highlighted that involving children in charitable acts on their birthdays aims to instill empathy, compassion, and a sense of social responsibility from an early age.
