Patuakhali's Galachipa upazila has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing first place in the Barishal division and sixth place nationwide in the "Notun Kuri" registration activities. The upazila attained this prestigious position among 832 upazilas and municipalities across the country.

According to relevant sources, overwhelming enthusiasm and participation in the registration drive drove Galachipa to the top of the Barishal division. Local cultural activists believe this outstanding achievement will play a positive role in fostering the creativity of children and adolescents and encouraging their active involvement in cultural activities. They noted that such initiatives for talent scouting and youth development will further invigorate the cultural arena of Galachipa.
