A garment making training course organized by the Balaganj Upazila Youth Development Office officially commenced on October 8, 2026. Balaganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marina Debnath inaugurated the program at the Nirapad Training Centre.
Speakers at the inaugural ceremony included Balaganj Upazila Assistant Youth Development Officer Mizanur Rahman, Nirapad Youth Development Association President and youth organizer Shahab Uddin Shahin, along with trainees Subarna Das and Chandni Akter.
The session was conducted by instructor Swarna Das. The training initiative aims to empower local youth with self-employment skills in tailoring and garment manufacturing.
