State Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives Mir Shahe Alam promised that maximum efforts will be made to drive overall development in Gaibandha following instructions from the Prime Minister. He made these remarks as the chief guest at the Law and Order Committee and Development Coordination Committee meeting held at the Gaibandha Deputy Commissioner's conference room on Thursday (October 1).

Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman, the meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Jashim Uddin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) A.K.M. Hedayetul Islam, and heads of various government departments. Discussions focused on the overall law and order situation and planned development initiatives across the district. Prior to the meeting, a contingent of police presented a guard of honor to the State Minister at the Circuit House, where he also addressed journalists regarding development strategies and responded to various media queries in the presence of BNP leaders and activists.
