Allegations of violating government service rules and managing committee formation policies while concealing his primary profession have been brought against Md. Mizanur Rahman, Headmaster of Shyamganj Girls' High School in Gauripur upazila.

Investigations reveal that while serving full-time as headmaster (MPIO Index No. D471884), he has covertly assumed the position of Chairman of the Ad-hoc Managing Committee of Baruriya High School in neighboring Purbadhala upazila.

According to regulations, no MPO-listed teacher or full-time employee can serve as chairman or member of the managing committee of another educational institution, as it directly violates the law and creates a conflict of interest.

However, allegations indicate that he cunningly concealed his profession in documents submitted to the education board for approval of the chairmanship, listing his occupation as "business" instead of headmaster.

Local teachers and conscious citizens argue that such conduct by a responsible headmaster is not only unethical but also demeans the teaching profession, questioning the reputation of Shyamganj Girls' High School.

Additionally, allegations surfaced that following the retirement of the headmaster of Baruriya High School, instead of handing over acting responsibilities to the senior-most teacher as per rules, he secured the role for a junior teacher of his choice.

Widespread anger prevails in the area over the incident, with locals demanding a thorough investigation and cancellation of his chairmanship. Preparations are underway to submit a formal written complaint with necessary documents, school data, and MPO sheets to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), District Education Officer (DEO), and the Inspector of Schools at the Mymensingh Education Board.
