An attack, vandalism of a residential house, felling of fruit-bearing trees, and looting of electrical wiring have been reported in the Diyabari area of Ashulia, Savar, in an attempt to forcefully occupy land. The victim, Md. Mahbub Alam Sultan, has lodged a written complaint with the Ashulia police station accusing eight individuals. The accused are Md. Mir Ali, Taslima Begum, Md. Rakib Hossain, Md. Faruk Hossain, Md. Alauddin, Sunil Chandra Sarkar, Rekha Rani Sarkar, and Anand Chandra Sarkar. According to the complaint, the accused armed themselves and trespassed onto his land on Thursday morning, vandalized his home, attempted to uproot boundary pillars, and issued death threats when family members intervened. Ashulia Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mehedi Hasan stated that police have inspected the site and legal proceedings are underway following an investigation.
