The Anti-Drug Task Force conducted a special operation in Bonapara village, Krishnapur, Puthia upazila, Rajshahi, on Saturday (October 3, 2026), seizing over 200 liters of brewed liquor and various manufacturing equipment from drug dealers based on a secret tip-off.

The seized items were publicly destroyed on-site in front of local residents. Puthia Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shibu Das stated that such strict anti-drug operations will continue regularly to maintain peace and protect youths from narcotics, while local residents warmly welcomed the administration's initiative and called for sustained campaigns to eradicate drugs.
