A human chain and procession were organized demanding urgent intervention from the Ministry of Railways and Bangladesh Railway authorities to restore train stoppages for the newly launched 'Pabna Probhati' and 'Pabna Godhuli' trains at the Tebunia railway station in Pabna.

The protest program was held on Saturday (November 7) at 3:30 PM in front of Sakhawat Plaza in Tebunia, Pabna Sadar upazila. Initiated by 'Tebunia Conscious Society', people from diverse professions participated. Following the human chain, a large procession marched along the Tebunia-Ishwardi road with enthusiastic public involvement.

Speakers at the human chain included Maligachha Union Parishad Chairman Syed Muntaj Ali, Pabna Sadar Upazila Krishak Dal President Abdur Razzaq, Pabna District Jamaat Amir Khandaker Zakaria, Tebunia Wasim Pathshala teacher Nasim, Faisal Ahmed Pallab, Union Parishad member aspirant Rokeya Khatun, Advocate Sohel, Tebunia Bazar Committee presidential aspirant Mohammad Ali, Maligachha Union UP Member Hanif, Ward No. 3 member aspirant Babu, and Tebunia Bazar Traders Committee cashier aspirant Monjur Kader, along with local notables Biplob and Anwar.

Maligachha UP Chairman Syed Muntaj Ali stated, "Tebunia railway station has long served as a vital transportation medium for the people of this region. If the newly launched trains do not halt at this station, ordinary citizens will face severe suffering. We demand the restoration of the train stoppages in the public interest."

Pabna Sadar Upazila Krishak Dal President Abdur Razzaq remarked, "The long-standing aspiration of people in Tebunia and surrounding areas is the advancement of rail communication. The initiative to launch new trains is commendable, but locals will be deprived of benefits unless stoppages are ensured at Tebunia. I urge railway authorities to implement this demand promptly."

Pabna District Jamaat Amir Khandaker Zakaria said, "Railways are among the easiest and most cost-effective modes of travel for common people. Having train stoppages at Tebunia will benefit students, job seekers, traders, and all strata of society. Considering public hardship, I strongly urge the relevant authorities to restore the train stoppages."

Faisal Ahmed Pallab added, "Due to the absence of train halts at Tebunia, passengers from this region are forced to spend extra time and money traveling to other stations. Ensuring halts for the 'Pabna Probhati' and 'Pabna Godhuli' trains at Tebunia will alleviate long-standing public misery. We draw the authorities' attention to execute this demand swiftly."
