A joy procession and rally were organized by the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum's Naogaon Bar Unit on Thursday (October 1) to mark Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's historical address at the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session on September 24, 2026.

The procession commenced at 10:30 AM from the Bar Building premises, paraded through the main streets of the city, and concluded back at the Bar Building for a brief rally. Chaired by the unit's Convener, Advocate Md. Zakaria Hossain, the rally featured speeches from former District BNP Joint Convener and former PP Advocate Abu Zahid Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Joint Convener Advocate Md. Anwar Hossain, and Joint Convener Advocate Mortaza Mohatab Uddin. Speakers highlighted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman followed the diplomatic legacy of former President Ziaur Rahman (11th UNGA Special Session, 1980) and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia (48th UNGA Session, 1993) by strongly advocating for global peace, international cooperation, and an independent Palestinian state on the world stage.
