Leaders of the Golapganj Press Club recently paid a courtesy visit to the Bishwanath Model Press Club office at the invitation of the local club. The meeting took place on Monday afternoon (October 12, 2026) following their attendance at a social event in Bishwanath.
The visiting delegation from Golapganj Press Club included General Secretary Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury, Vice-President Badrul Alam, Assistant General Secretary Md. Abdul Aziz (Babar), Publicity Secretary M.D. Fahim Ashraf, Sports Secretary Tamim Ahmad, IT Secretary Samil Hossain, Cultural Secretary Fahad Hossain, Executive Member Babar Jowardar, and Golapganj Journalist Welfare Association President Delwar Hossain Mahmud.
During the cordial exchange, leaders from both press clubs discussed strengthening mutual communication, professional cooperation, and solidarity in discharging journalistic duties. Bishwanath Model Press Club leaders also congratulated the newly elected committee members of the Golapganj Press Club.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the host organization by former Bishwanath Model Press Club President Jahangir Alam Khair, current Vice-President Ruhel Uddin, General Secretary Saleh Ahmad Saki, Office and Publicity Secretary Badrul Islam Mohsin, Executive Member Akhtar Ahmad Shahed, member Afzal Mia, and Bishwanath Upazila Parishad Nazir Office Assistant Roman Ahmad Naushad, among others.
