A murder case has been filed in connection with the suspicious death of Babli Begum (25), a housewife in Parbatipur, Dinajpur. The deceased's husband, Md. Raju, was arrested by police and produced before the court on Thursday following the filing of the case.

According to police and local sources, Babli Begum, wife of Md. Raju of Sahebpara in Parbatipur town, was rushed to the local LAMB Hospital in an unconscious state on Wednesday afternoon, where the attending doctor declared her dead. Upon notification, Parbatipur GRP Police recovered the body and brought it to the station.

Parbatipur GRP Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahmud-un Nabi confirmed that the deceased’s maternal uncle, Atiqur Rahman, filed a murder case on Thursday. The victim's husband was sent to court, and the body has been sent to Dinajpur for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
