Police have successfully unraveled the high-profile abduction and murder case of Chokoria Jubadal leader Md. Jisan (26), arresting two suspects and seizing the Noah vehicle used in the crime.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police A.N.M. Sajedur Rahman, supervision of Chokoria Circle Assistant SP Md. Abdul Aziz, and leadership of Chokoria Police Station Officer-in-Charge Arifur Rahman, law enforcement conducted targeted raids based on information technology, CCTV footage, and intelligence. Jisan had been abducted on the night of September 27 from the Maiz Kakara area of Kakara union in a white/silver Noah car, and his body was subsequently recovered from the Medhakachhapia area of Khutakhali union.

Authorities first apprehended Anwar Hossain alias Kallu Driver, leading to the subsequent arrest of Shawkat Mia alias Shawkat Driver (29), who directly participated in the assassination. Both confessed during primary interrogations, prompting the seizure of the silver Noah vehicle (Chattometro-Cha-11-5969). A case (No. 44, dated 29/09/2026 under sections 341/364/302/34 of the Penal Code) has been registered at Chokoria Police Station, while police operations continue to track down other masterminds and financiers involved.
