State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Chowdhury, MP, has called for spreading the literary works, music, and ideals of equality of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam among the younger generation. Speaking as the chief guest on Friday evening at the closing and prize-giving ceremony of a cultural competition organized for "Nazrul Year" at the Nandail Upazila Parishad auditorium in Mymensingh, he emphasized that Nazrul’s timeless philosophy serves as an eternal source of inspiration, humanity, and secularism. Presided over by Nandail Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Fatema Jannat, the event featured special guests including Assistant Commissioner (Land) Aminul Islam Tareq, Agriculture Officer Naima Sultana, Upazila BNP Member Secretary Enamul Kadir, Senior Joint Convener Mizanur Rahman Liton, and the State Minister’s Personal Assistant Saddam Hossain. At the conclusion of the event, the State Minister handed over prizes and certificates to the winning students.
