Traditional Karam Festival of indigenous communities celebrated with enthusiasm in Mahadebpur, Naogaon

​ The traditional Karam Festival, the largest religious and cultural celebration of the ethnic minority communities, was celebrated in a festive atmosphere at the historic Dakbangla field in Mahadebpur upazila on Tuesday afternoon (September 29). Organized by the National Adivasi Parishad Mahadebpur upazila committee and presided over by its president Dilip Pahan, the event featured speeches from 48 Naogaon-3 MP Md.

Fazle Huda Babul as the chief guest, alongside Upazila Nirbahi Officer Manjura Musharraf, Police Station OC Md. Omar Faruk, and central Adivasi Parishad leaders. Indigenous dance troupes from various upazilas participated in the event, which concluded with a cultural competition and prize distribution.
