Inter-Education Board Extends Second Phase XI Class Admission Deadline to October 1
The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee revises the 2026–27 Class 11 admission timeline to accommodate second-phase applicants.

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has extended the online application deadline for the second phase of Class 11 (XI) college admissions for the 2026–27 academic year until 8:00 PM on October 1, 2026.

According to a revised notification signed on Monday (September 28, 2026) by Dhaka Education Board Chairman and Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee President Prof. Dr. Syed Akhteruzzaman, the schedule was reorganized to address complications caused by students failing to complete admission confirmations on time. Applicants—including those who missed the first phase, were not selected, or faced quota selection errors—must choose 5 to 10 colleges in their preference order via the official portal. Students previously unplaced in the first phase do not need to pay the BDT 220 application fee again. Under the updated timeline, second-phase selection results will be published at 8:00 PM on October 5, followed by the confirmation window open until October 8. Migration results will be released on October 9, with final college enrollments taking place between October 11 and October 13, 2026.
