Assistant Professor Md. Imran Hossain of the Arabic department at Pabna's historic centennial Pushpapara Kamil Madrasa has been named a national-level Best Qualified Teacher for his exceptional contributions to education.

On Monday (October 5, 2026), marking World Teachers' Day 2026, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman handed over the prestigious medal, certificate, and a check of Taka 2 lakh at a national ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.

Expressing immense pride, Madrasa Principal Md. Mahbubur Rahman and recipient Imran Hossain—who dedicated the milestone to his late father and acknowledged the support of his family and colleagues—noted that this national honor significantly heightens his commitment to fostering moral, ethical, and creative academic excellence among students.
