As the nation celebrates Sharadiya Durga Puja—the largest festival of the Hindu community—artists and creators are continually releasing special musical offerings to elevate the festive mood. Adding to the celebratory cheer, a brand new music video titled ‘Priya Durga Maa’ was released on digital platforms by Revive Records.
The song is rendered and composed by popular artist Bishwajit, with poignant and uplifting lyrics penned by Mahi Flora and musical arrangements by Sabyasachi Rony. Opening with evocative lines such as "Bochhor ghure asche abar korbe andhar dur", the track beautifully weaves together themes of devotion, Goddess Durga's worship, and universal joy.
The accompanying music video was directed by Rinku Barman, featuring performances by young talents Niladri Biswas, Labbika Nawaz Sohishunota, and Ishika Jahin. Sharing his thoughts on the release, artist Bishwajit expressed hope that the song's melody and message of harmony will deeply resonate with listeners and add an extra layer of color to their puja festivities.
