DHAKA — Ten more freedom fighters received state honours at a ceremony yesterday, several arriving in wheelchairs to applause that filled the hall.
The citation recalled operations in three sectors, including the capture of an arms depot that changed the course of a winter battle.
Families of two posthumous recipients accepted medals with trembling hands. 'He waited fifty years for this,' one daughter said.
