The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 401 people across the capital and filed 26 cases over a 24-hour period as part of a regular crime crackdown. The operations were conducted across the city's eight police divisions and by the Detective Branch. During these drives, security forces seized illegal weapons and narcotics, including a sword, a machete, an iron rod fitted with a sharp circular blade, another iron rod, 95 yaba tablets, 70 grams of heroin, 668 grams of cannabis, and a private car. Legal proceedings against the detainees are currently underway.
