Bangladesh has officially finalized a major supplementary agreement with the US aerospace manufacturer Boeing to procure 11 additional aircraft for the national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Prime Minister's Adviser Mahdi Amin confirmed the development, noting that the agreement was executed during a high-level signing ceremony held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York. The landmark deal marks a crucial step forward in Biman's ongoing fleet modernization and international network expansion program, designed to enhance operational capacity, improve passenger connectivity, and accommodate growing aviation demands across global routes.
