Kader Gani Chowdhury, Secretary General of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), has described the late BFUJ President Ruhul Amin Gazi as a fearless and robust protesting voice against all forms of injustice. Speaking at a memorial discussion, he remarked that due to his uncompromising, principled, and vocal stance against wrongdoing, the veteran journalist had to endure a long, agonizing period of imprisonment and immense physical suffering under the oppressive regime.

He emphasized that Ruhul Amin Gazi never bowed down to threats, greed, or political vendetta. When it came to protecting the rights of journalists, freedom of speech, and upholding the nation's sovereignty, he remained an unyielding symbol of courage and resistance. Kader Gani Chowdhury further added that the exemplary life, struggles, and sacrifices of Ruhul Amin Gazi will continue to inspire future generations of media professionals to practice honest, independent, and ethical journalism without fear.
