Customs Intelligence Seals Four Liquor Warehouses Owned by Father-in-Law of Youtuber Salman Muqtadir
Customs Intelligence officials seal bonded warehouses in Dhaka following a joint overnight raid.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) has sealed four warehouses belonging to 'Toss Bond Private Limited' in South Gulshan, Dhaka, after uncovering two unauthorized storage facilities containing duty-free alcohol.

According to a press release issued by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Friday (October 2, 2026), the joint operation was conducted between Thursday night and early Friday morning alongside the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) and the Special Response Battalion (SRB). Toss Bond, a diplomatic bonded warehouse managed by Nur Islam—the father-in-law of internet personality Salman Mohammad Muqtadir—is licensed to supply duty-free alcohol to foreign diplomats. Officers reported that investigations into allegations of illegal open-market sales had been underway for several months. Upon inspection, officials discovered two unapproved facilities alongside the company's two declared premises, leading to the sealing of all four sites to prevent the removal of imported goods. Officials further clarified that the customs raid was driven by long-standing compliance allegations against Nur Islam and remains independent of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit's (BFIU) recent inquiry into Salman Muqtadir's bank accounts.
