When asked whether the blasts were exclusively conducted by banned outfits or involved other political actors, Joint Commissioner Tofael Ahmed Miah stated that Patwari ought to be questioned to clarify the underlying context of his statement. He added that any decision regarding formal questioning would rest with senior police officials.
