In a major breakthrough in the investigation into the mysterious death of former Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Flight Lieutenant KM Tahsif Suri, his detained companion Ahmed Shahriar Reza Dweep has begun disclosing details to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI).
Following overnight operations across multiple locations by PBI Dhaka Metro North, a senior police superintendent involved in the questioning revealed that Dweep claimed during interrogation: "We were talking at the spot when a group of people began chasing us. Tahsif then jumped into the river, and I fled the area." Additional Inspector General of Police (Addl. IGP) Mostafa Kamal confirmed that significant information has been gathered from Dweep's custody, though full details are being withheld to safeguard ongoing operations.
