State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to collaborating with India in a forward-looking and mutually respectful manner on shared interests for the benefit of both nations.
He made these remarks when the Indian High Commissioner, Dinesh Trivedi, paid a courtesy call on him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as stated in a press release. The high commissioner congratulated Kobir on assuming his new position.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed various bilateral matters alongside regional and international developments, which included a review of the recently concluded 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
