Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) headquarters in Dhaka, which issued a formal warning against online disinformation targeting the Bangladesh Army and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has issued a stern public warning regarding a coordinated wave of misleading, baseless, and malicious propaganda circulating across various online platforms and social media channels targeting the Bangladesh Army and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman.

In an official press release issued on Saturday night (October 10, 2026), ISPR stated that these fabricated narratives are transparent attempts to create public confusion and undermine the pristine image and reputation of the armed forces. Emphasizing that the Bangladesh Army remains steadfast, deeply united, and anchored in a robust chain of command, mutual trust, unity, discipline, and uncompromising professionalism, ISPR urged citizens and media outlets not to be swayed by such subversive disinformation. The military's media wing further advised everyone to rely exclusively on official and reliable sources for any information concerning the army and its leadership.
