Liberation War Affairs Minister Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan has urged all political stakeholders to work collectively toward national development, calling on the opposition to refrain from destructive street politics and instead utilize Parliament for constructive debate.
Speaking as the chief guest at a rally and protest march organized by the Basail Upazila BNP in Tangail on Sunday (September 27, 2026), the Minister emphasized that Parliament should serve as the focal point for resolving national grievances, policy debates, and governance challenges. Highlighting the government's development roadmap under Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Minister Azam Khan stated that the administration is working tirelessly to establish a prosperous and democratic Bangladesh. The rally—presided over by Basail Upazila BNP Acting President Mamun Al Jahangir—was also addressed by Tangail District BNP President Hasanujjamil Shaheen, former Joint Secretary Abul Kashem Mia, Upazila BNP General Secretary Nurnabi Abu Hayat Khan Nobu, former President Enamul Karim Atal, and Pourashava BNP President Akhtaruzzaman Tuhin.
