The Dhaka District Drum Truck, Concrete Mixer, Prime Mover, Trailer, Crane, and Flat Bed (Heavy Equipment Operator) Workers Union (Reg. No. Dhaka-6352) has unveiled comprehensive long-term plans aimed at ensuring workplace safety, skill development, fair worker rights, and enhanced social and professional status.

The announcements were made on Friday (September 25) at 9:00 AM during the newly elected committee's introduction meeting held at the Tofazzal Hossain Manik Miah Hall of the National Press Club.

The meeting was addressed by prominent labor leaders, including Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation Acting President Md. Abdur Rahim Baksh Dudu as the chief guest, Acting General Secretary Md. Humayun Kabir Khan as the chief speaker, and was presided over by Union President Md. Faysal Ahayed (Tipu). General Secretary Md. Alauddin Farazi conducted the event. Key future initiatives announced during the meeting include establishing regular training and workshops for modern technology adaptation, creating a permanent welfare fund and health insurance facilities for accident and emergency support, expanding international employment opportunities for skilled operators, developing a modern digital database and mobile app for member services, setting up a legal aid advisory center, and expanding organizational structures to district and industrial levels to build a stronger national network.
